Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Eligible Labs collects through eligiblelabs.com and the Eligible Labs application, how we use it and who we share it with.

Account information: name, work email and the facility you work for.

Resident information: details a facility enters or uploads to manage a Medicaid application, such as name, admit date, income, assets and supporting documents.

Family contact information: name, relationship, email and phone number, provided by the facility, and documents a family contact uploads through a secure link.

Usage information: pages viewed, actions taken and error reports.

Contact form information: what you send us when you get in touch.

To run the service: screening eligibility, collecting documents, tracking applications and renewals, and sending reminders.

To support and improve the service, fix problems and keep it secure.

We don't sell personal information, and we don't use resident information for advertising.

Service providers that help us operate, such as hosting, database, email, text messaging and error monitoring vendors, only as needed to provide those services.

State agencies, when a facility directs us to as part of an application or renewal.

Others when the law requires it.

Family contacts receive messages about a resident's document checklist. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts. Message and data rates may apply. Facilities confirm they have permission to contact the people they add.

We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls that separate each facility's records, and signed, expiring links for family uploads. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't promise absolute security.

We keep information while an account is active. When an account is deleted, its information is removed after a 30 day recovery period, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Facility users can update account details in settings or delete their account. Families and residents should contact the facility, or email us, about records held on a facility's behalf.
